El Cajon, CA. – One person was injured in a rollover collision involving a mail truck that took place Wednesday afternoon in El Cajon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:13 p.m. on westbound Interstate 8 at Lake Jennings Park Road.
A small USPS mail truck collided with a white 30-foot box truck under unclear circumstances. The mail truck overturned.
The driver of the mail truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The No. 2 lane was shut down following the collision.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
