Preliminary reports indicate that a 21-year-old man was driving a black 2015 Ford Mustang eastbound on Avenue 384 when he drifted across the double yellow lines into the westbound side

Dinuba, CA – A man was killed in a traffic collision that occurred near Dinuba in Tulare County on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, authorities received reports of the accident at around 2:48 p.m. April 4, on Avenue 384 near Road 118.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 21-year-old man was driving a black 2015 Ford Mustang eastbound on Avenue 384 when he drifted across the double yellow lines into the westbound side.
The Mustang then crashed head-on with an oncoming white Ford pickup truck. The driver of the Mustang was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Emergency personnel declared the Mustang driver deceased at the scene. His name was not released pending notification of the next-of-kin.
The driver of the Ford, a 62-year-old man, sustained major injuries and was transported to Kaweah Medical Center for treatment.
It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs played any role in the accident.
No additional details on the incident were available. The California Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the incident.
