Tillamook County, OR – One person was killed following a head-on collision on Friday Morning in Tillamook County, police said.
The fatal collision occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on October 3, 2025, on Highway 6 near milepost 32.
According to investigators, a westbound Mazda 3, driven by Brissa Garcia, 27, of Vancouver, crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with an on-coming Scion Xd, driven by Deanna Bollinger, 57, of Garibaldi.
Bollinger was pronounced dead at the scene.
Garcia sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The highway was impacted for around six hours to allow on-scene investigations.
No additional details regarding the crash were provided.
The police are investigating the accident.
