At Least 1 Dies in Santa Cruz Accident at Highway 129 and Murphy Road
Santa Cruz, California (May 28, 2023) – At least one person was killed Sunday evening after a crash at an intersection in Santa Cruz.
According to a police report, the crash happened around 7:36 p.m. on the eastbound Highway 129 and Murphy Road.
A blue vehicle and a motorcycle were involved in the collision. The circumstances surrounding the wreck were not immediately established.
The area was cleared for the helicopter to land.
Authorities arrived at the scene and found one party conscious and breathing.
One person was airlifted to Natividad Hospital for treatment.
At least one person died following the crash.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation to determine the cause of the mishap is ongoing.
