Livermore, CA – A motorcyclist died in a traffic collision that happened Thursday morning on a freeway in Livermore, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported around 9:06 a.m. on the westbound 580 Freeway, just west of the North Livermore Avenue off-ramp.
As per the report, the crash involved a motorcycle and a white Mercedes-Benz SUV.
The rider and the motorcycle were down in the No. 3 lane after the crash.
The motorcyclist was killed in the accident.
The Express Lane and the lanes Nos. 1-4 were shut down for investigation.
