The deceased party was identified as 65-year-old Daniel Martin.
Martin was critically injured and was transported to the hospital where he later died.

Tempe, AZ – One person was killed after multiple vehicles collided at an intersection in Tempe Sunday afternoon, according to a police report.
The deadly crash happened at the intersection of Guadalupe and Rural roads on August 24, 2025.
According to the police, four vehicles collided, leaving one person with critical injuries. The injured party was transported to the hospital where they later died.
The identity of the victim was not immediately provided.

The westbound Guadalupe was closed at Terrace for about five hours.
