Daniel Jacks Jr Killed in Moreno Valley Accident on Gilman Springs Road
Moreno Valley, California (November 14, 2022) – Daniel Jacks Jr., 45, was killed in a collision involving a suspected DUI driver on Sunday night in Moreno Valley, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened shortly before 9 p.m. November 13, on Gilman Springs Road, east of Bridge Street.
CHP said an SUV was traveling westbound on Gilman Springs Road when it drifted across the center divider and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle occupied by Jacks and his daughter Hannah Jacks, 20.
Both Daniel and Hannah were killed in the collision.
The other driver, Scott Bales, 47, of Moreno Valley, and his passenger, a 45-year-old, were hospitalized with major injuries.
Bales was also arrested for two counts of homicide and DUI causing injury.
The CHP is investigating the collision.

Moreno Valley, California (November 13, 2022) – Two people were killed in a car accident that happened on Sunday night in Moreno Valley, Riverside County.
At around 8:56 p.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a traffic collision in the area of Gilman Springs Road and Bridge Street.
Two cars were involved in the head-on wreck.
One of the cars reportedly ended in a ditch after the collision.
CHP says two people including a juvenile were killed in the accident.

The names of the deceased victims were not immediately disclosed.
Two others were transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
The crash was being investigated as a possible DUI.
