Coronado, CA – One person was killed in a crash between a vehile and a motorcycle on Wednesday night in Coronado, according to the authorities.

The wreck took place at around 11:30 p.m. September 16, on Silver Strand Boulevard.

According to the investigators, two motorcycles were involved in the accident. The manner in which the two crashed was not immediately established.

The two motorcyclists were rushed to a hospital, where one of them was declared deceased. The other rider was hospitalized with serious injuries.

At least one northound lane of Silver Strand Boulevard was shut down as authorities investigated the accident.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation by the Coronado Police Department.
