A 2003 red Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound when it veered off the roadway and overturned

Thousand Palms, CA. – A 48-year-old Los Angeles man was killed in a Tuesday morning car accident in Thousand Palms.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the eastbound Interstate 10 near Cook Street at around 8 a.m.
A 2003 red Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound when the driver, Christopher Murphy, made an unsafe turning movement to the right and drove off the roadway, where it overturned.
Murphy was killed in the accident.
No other occupants were inside the vehicle.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
