CHP Officer Hurt in Fresno Accident on McKinley Avenue
Fresno, California (June 6, 2023) – A CHP officer was injured in a traffic collision on Monday evening in central Fresno, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place on McKinley Avenue and Fresno Street at around 7 p.m.
Authorities said the CHP officer was pursuing a stolen vehicle when their vehicle was hit by another vehicle.
The impact caused the CHP vehicle to strike a street pole.
The CHP officer was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with a complaint of pain.
The other driver was not hurt. The crash is under investigation.
