1 Hurt in Fremont Car Accident on 880 Freeway near Auto Mall Parkway
Fremont, California (May 24, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle accident that injured one person on Tuesday afternoon in Fremont.
The accident happened around 2:16 p.m. on May 23 on the northbound 880 Freeway, just north of Auto Mall Parkway.
Police confirmed two vehicles, including a gray Honda, were involved in the accident. The Honda was facing the wrong way in lane 2 following the collision.
Fire officials and medics responded to the scene to aid at least one person injured in the collision. The patient was treated for minor injuries.
Authorities blocked lane 1 following the collision.
