According to TPD, a red 2018 Polaris RZR and a blue 2018 RZR were involved in the accident

Tucson, AZ.- A woman was killed in a UTV accident near the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson on Thursday night, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The wreck took place in the 6000 block of East Alexander Anton Lane on Thursday, October 9.
According to TPD, a red 2018 Polaris RZR and a blue 2018 RZR were involved in the accident.
The two were traveling on separate dirt roads parallel to each other and crashed when the roads merged.
The impact caused both vehicles to roll over.
A passenger in the red Polaris was pronounced deceased at the scene while the driver was transported with non-life-threatening injuries
The deceased passenger was identified as Cheryl Jeanene Cathey, 56.
The other driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
DUI was not suspected in the accident, according to the police.
The Tucson Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
