Tucson, AZ.- The pedestrian who was hit and severely injured by a vehicle in Tucson on Saturday has been identified as Catherine Spear, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place in the area of Orange Grove Road and La Cholla Boulevard on Saturday, November 8.
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Spear was riding in a wheelchair in the crosswalk when a vehicle hit her.
Spear was transported to a hospital with critical injuries including a broken femur and shattered pelvic bone.
No additional details on the incident were available.
The PCSD is investigating the accident.
