1 Hospitalized After Commerce Car Accident on 5 Freeway and E Slauson Avenue
Commerce, California (October 10, 2020) – One person was transported to the hospital after a car accident on Sunday afternoon in Commerce, Los Angeles County.
According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, the collision occurred at about 4:06 p.m. on October 9, on the northbound 5 Freeway, just south of East Slauson Avenue.
Per the report, two cars collided for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews and medical personnel arrived at the scene to aid one individual injured in the accident. The patient was transported to PIH Health Downey Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The name of the injured party was not provided.
The vehicles were towed away from the accident location.
