According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place on the Foothill (210) Freeway just west of 5th Avenue at about 12:53 a.m. September 17.
Arcadia, CA – The authorities have released the identity of the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle on 210 Freeway in Arcadia on Thursday last week.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the deceased pedestrian as 32-year-old Caitlyn Gregorich.
CHP officials said Gregorich was hit by a vehicle at about 12:53 a.m. on September 17, 2026, on Foothill (210) Freeway just west of 5th Avenue.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Arcadia, CA – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Thursday morning in Arcadia.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place on the Foothill (210) Freeway just west of 5th Avenue at about 12:53 a.m. September 17.
Authorities reported that a pedestrian was hit in the eastbound lanes of the freeway under unclear circumstances.
The CHP and emergency crews arrived shortly after, and the pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately released by the authorities.
The involved driver was at the scene when authorities arrived.
The eastbound lanes of the freeway were shut down for nearly three hours following the accident.
The California Highway Patrol is still working to find out what led up to the deadly crash.
