Stockton, CA.- A 5-year-old boy has died days after being involved in a major car accident in Stockton, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. October 21, near Pacific Avenue and Northbank Court.
A sedan reportedly crashed into the side of another vehicle near the intersection under unclear circumstances.
The drivers, a 42-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
A passenger in the woman's car, identified as Bryan Thong, 5, of Stockton, was taken to a hospital with critical injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital on Sunday, October 26.
The authorities are conducting an investigation to find out what led up to the accident.
