Brentwood, CA – 17-year-old Caden Kyle and 17-year-old Dominic Ferrari have been identified by their families as the two Liberty High School students who died in a two-vehicle collision that happened early Sunday morning at an intersection in Brentwood.
The wreck, which also left two others injured, was reported around 12:20 a.m. on September 13, 2026, at Deer Valley Road and Balfour Road.
Kyle and Ferrari, who were both seniors at the school, were occupants in a silver Infiniti alongside a third student. The car collided with a white BMW at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
Kyle and Ferrari were pronounced dead at the scene by responding emergency personnel.
The third student and the driver of the BMW were hospitalized in unknown condition.
Kyle’s family and Ferrari’s family set up fundraiser pages to help them raise funds following the traffic accident.
Liberty High School Principal Efa Huckaby notified students and staff that counselling and support services will be available at the school.
