At Least 1 Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Highway 58
Bakersfield, California (August 12, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a collision with semi-truck in Bakersfield on Friday night, according to the authorities.
The incident happened on Highway 58 near the S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on-ramp at around 9:19 p.m. August 11.
The CHP said a black Nissan Altima traveling west on the highway is believed to have been hit from the back by a big rig.
The incident resulted in major damage.
One of the passengers was taken to a hospital with an injured arm.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
