Hanford, CA.- A bicyclist was killed in an accident involving a vehicle in Hanford on Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Just before 7 p.m. September 15, authorities responded to reports of a collision on Hanford Armona Road and 16th Avenue.
A 63-year-old man was riding a bicycle in the area when he was rear-ended by a car and got ejected from the bike.
The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was killed in the accident.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene after the collision.
According to the CHP, DUI was not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
