Contra Costa, CA. – At least one person was injured in a car accident that happened in Bay Point on Thursday morning, December 11.
According to California Highway Patrol incident logs, the accident happened in the area of Canal Road and Bailey Road at around 10:21 a.m.
A silver Chevy Malibu was traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a box truck that was exiting a gas station.
One person suffered minor injuries in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
