Barry William Tutt, 71, of La Verne, was reportedly hit by a silver Ford sedan that fled the scene after the accident

Dana Point, CA.- A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Dana Point on Friday afternoon.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the incident was reported at about noon on November 7, in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Dana Point Harbor Drive.
Barry William Tutt, 71, of La Verne, was reportedly hit by a silver Ford sedan that fled the scene after the accident.
Medics transported Tutt to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Ford was later located and arrested.
The driver, identified as Humberto Munoz Gatica, 57, of Laguna Niguel, was booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation.
