Baldwin Park, CA – At least one person sustained major injuries after two vehicles collided Saturday evening on Interstate 605 South in Baldwin Park, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred on the southbound 605 Freeway just north of the I-10 interchange at approximately 7:47 p.m. on April 18.
CHP officials said a white SUV and a silver sedan were involved in the collision.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the crash. However, the total number of injured parties has not been specified, and no fatalities or arrests have been reported.
Emergency responders, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department, arrived at the scene to assist victims and manage the incident. Tow crews were dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
The crash caused significant traffic disruption in the area, with all lanes temporarily stopped before authorities were able to reopen some lanes and ease congestion.
