Auburn, CA. – One person was killed in a car crash on Tuesday night near Auburn in Placer County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 80 at Placer Hills Road at around 11:15 p.m.
A tanker truck and a car were involved in the collision. The tanker truck overturned after the collision.
An occupant of the car was killed in the accident.
Crews took several hours to upright the truck and tow it away.
