At Least One Person Hurt in Two-Vehicle Collision at New York Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard in North Sacramento

, CA – At least one person was injured Monday morning after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of New York Avenue in , the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported.

The crash occurred at approximately 9:26 a.m. on August 27 on New York Avenue near Fair Oaks Boulevard. Emergency crews were dispatched after reports of vehicles blocking the roadway, causing traffic delays in the area.

According to the CHP, a blue Ford Mustang and a white SUV were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles was reported to be blocking the number one lane on Fair Oaks Boulevard, and a party was initially said to still be inside a vehicle following the impact. Fire personnel from the Sacramento Fire Department responded to the scene to assist.

According to authorities, at least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash. There were no reports of fatalities or arrests made in connection with the incident.

A tow was requested to remove the damaged vehicles, and traffic was temporarily affected while responders cleared the scene and provided aid to those involved.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
