At Least One Person Hospitalized After Tulare Big Rig Accident on State Route 137 at Oakmore Street
Tulare, California (July 3, 2023) – At least one person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a traffic collision involving a big rig that happened Sunday night in Tulare.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported at about 9:22 p.m. on eastbound State Route 137 at Oakmore Street.
First responders found a jackknifed big rig that had collided with a red pickup truck.
The vehicles were blocking the eastbound lanes.
Tulare County firefighters responded to the scene and took at least one person to the hospital with serious injuries.
CHP officers are investigating to establish the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
