A Kia and the Amtrak bus were involved in the crash on the northbound side of the interstate.
Bakersfield, Calif.- At least one person was injured in a collision involving an Amtrak bus in Bakersfield on Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 6:53 a.m. on I-5 near Frontage Road.
CHP said a Kia and the Amtrak bus were involved in the crash on the northbound side of the interstate.
The Kia overturned following the incident.
At least one person was flown to a hospital with major injuries.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
