Phoenix, AZ.- A crash involving a wrong-way driver left one person dead on Monday afternoon in north Phoenix, according to the police.
The incident took place on Happy Valley Road near 34th Avenue on September 8.
According to the report, Arthur Cody Lomeli, 33, was heading east in the westbound lanes of Happy Valley Road when his vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming car.
Lomeli was rushed to a hospital, where he was later declared dead.
The woman driving the second vehicle was hospitalized in critical condition.
The factors leading up to the wreck are under investigation.
