Apple Valley, CA. – One person was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Apple Valley Saturday night, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The collision occurred at approximately 10:08 p.m. on February 7, 2026, at the intersection of Apple Valley Road and Yucca Loma Road, near a Chevron gas station.
Preliminary investigation findings indicate that a silver GMC Sierra was traveling northbound on Apple Valley Road while a blue Chrysler 300 was traveling eastbound on Yucca Loma Road when the two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Authorities identified the deceased as 66-year-old Marvin White, a resident of Apple Valley. White, who was driving the pickup truck, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where the individual remains hospitalized. No arrests were reported.
The cause of the Apple Valley crash remains under investigation, and officials have not yet released additional details regarding the events leading up to the collision.
Deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene and conducted the on-site investigation.
The intersection of Apple Valley Road and Yucca Loma Road was closed for approximately five hours while authorities processed the scene, causing traffic disruptions in the area.
The incident remains under active investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
