Apple Valley, CA – Two juveniles were among three people who were killed in a crash involving multiple vehicles at an intersection in Apple valley on Wednesday night, according to the Apple Valley Fire Protection District.
The wreck happened at around 11:43 p.m. on july 29, in the area of Apple Valley Road and Yucca Loma Road.
Preliminary reports indicate that a silver minivan, a silver 2019 Toyota Highlander, and a white 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan were involved in the crash. Details on what may have led up to the crash were not immediately available.
According to the investigators, five ambulances responded to the scene for multiple parties involved in the accident.
Emergency crews confirmed that three people died of their injuries at the scene. The deceased parties were only identified as two minors and an adult woman.
Several other parties were injured in the collision and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
The intersection of Apple Valley Road and Yucca Loma Road was shut down for hours as authorities worked at the scene. No additional details were released.
The Apple Valley Police Department responded to the incident and are still investigating to determine the factors of the crash.
