Clackamas County, OR – One person was killed on Tuesday in a single-vehicle accident in Boring, according to the Oregon State Police.
The fatal accident happened around 6:05 a.m. on September 30 on Highway 212, near the intersection with SE Richey Road.
Police said Anthony Cyrill Koenig, 77, of Lake Oswego, was driving a Ford F-150 eastbound when he left the roadway, for unknown reasons, and crashed into the front of the Timber Bar & Grill.
Koenig was pronounced dead at the scene.
An occupant of the Timber Bar and Grill was not injured.
The accident closed the highway for about four hours.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
