Josephine County, OR – One woman was killed, and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on in Josephine County early Saturday morning, according to the Oregon State Police.

The crash occurred near milepost 62 at about 2:04 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Investigators determined that 34-year-old Annette Dimmick of Grants Pass was driving a Chevrolet S10 southbound in the northbound lanes of I-5 for unknown reasons. The Chevy crashed into a northbound Volvo commercial motor vehicle and trailer driven by 68-year-old David Jellison of Alliance, Ohio, in a head-on crash.

Jellison had a passenger, 29-year-old Ceejay Clay of Warren, Ohio.

Dimmick sustained injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Jellison and Clay suffered minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The collision caused significant traffic delays, with the highway impacted for roughly four hours during the investigation and cleanup.

The incident remains under investigation.
