Santa Ana, CA.- Andrew Rodriguez, 39, of Wilmington, has been identified as the bicyclist who was killed in a traffic accident in Santa Ana on Thursday night.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the accident took place on Grand Avenue and Grovemont Street at around 11:35 p.m. August 27.
Police reported that Rodriguez was riding a bike across Grand Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Vanessa Anahi Picenavalos, 26.
Rodriguez had life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police arrested Picenavalos on suspicion of DUI.
The Santa Ana Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
