Anaheim, CA – Three people were hospitalized after a big rig overturned, landing on a sedan Tuesday evening on the 91 Freeway in Anaheim.
According to authorities, the crash was reported around 7:30 p.m., May 5, on the 91 Freeway at Brookhurst Street.
Officers said for an unknown reason, a big rig overturned, causing the container it was hauling to land on top of a sedan. The back end of the container landed on a cement k-rail, preventing it from entirely crushing the car.
The two people inside the car were able to scrabble out through the passenger side.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the two parties and the big rig driver to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
