
Anacortes, WA.- A 36-year-old man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 20 in Anacortes on Monday morning.
According to a report by the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened at about 7 a.m. Monday, December 1, on SR 20 near North Dewey Beach Drive.
The report reveals that a 27-year-old man was driving a Toyota Tacoma southbound on SR 20 when, for unspecified reasons, he drifted across the centerline and collided with an oncoming Chevrolet. The Chevrolet then crashed into a Honda Civic and a tire came off the Chevrolet, hitting a fourth vehicle.
The driver of the Honda, Edmundo Corrales, 36, was killed in the accident. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The collision is under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.
