Diamond Bar, California (May 2, 2022) – The woman who was killed in a collision involving a big rig in Diamond Bar on Sunday morning has been identified as Ana Cruz-Sanchez, 29, of Rialto, according to the authorities.

The deadly crash was reported at around 6 a.m. on May 1, on the Pomona (60) Freeway near the Grand Avenue offramp.

A sedan and a big rig reportedly collided on the eastbound side of the freeway.

The sedan was heavily damaged, and one occupant, later identified as Cruz-Sanchez, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Further details on the incident were not immediately available.

An investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
