Amarillo, TX. – One person was injured in a motorcycle accident that happened on Tuesday in Amarillo.
According to Amarillo police, the accident happened at Hillside Road and Bell Street.
An SUV was exiting a private drive and was attempting to turn eastbound onto Hillside when it failed to yield the right of way and struck a westbound motorcycle.
The 59-year-old male rider was transported to hospital in critical condition.
Police say the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The SUV driver was unhurt.
