Walnut Creek, CA. – 16-year-old Alina Safi died, and four others were injured in a head-on collision that happened Saturday afternoon in Walnut Creek, the Walnut Creek Police Department reported.

At least two cars were involved in a head-on crash.
Safi was pronounced dead at the scene. She was driving one of the vehicles.
Four other people were hospitalized for their injuries. One of them, who is under 18 years old, was flown to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland.
Safi's family opened a GoFundMe account to help them raise funds following her demise.
