Colfax, WA – The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim killed in a single vehicle Sunday morning in Colfax as 33-year-old Alex Papendick from Colton.

According to a preliminary investigation, the car operated by Papendick was traveling southbound when it veered off the roadway, overturned multiple times, and came to rest off the road.
Papendick was declared dead at the crash site.
