Agua Dulce, CA – Authorities have released the identity of a driver who was killed in a wrong-way collision that occurred at an intersection near Agua Dulce on Tuesday evening.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, 54-year-old Everett Turner of Canyon Country, died at the scene of the two-vehicle crash.
At about 6:20 p.m. January 6, the California Highway Patrol received reports of a collision at Anthony Road and Sierra Highway.
Investigations into the crash found that Turner had been driving a silver Acura in the opposite side of the roadway when he collided head-on with an oncoming black Toyota Rav4.
Turner was declared deceased at the scene while the other driver was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol Newhall-area Office responded to the incident. The officials are still gathering more information as they try to find out what led up to the deadly Agua Dulce accident.
