Adams County, WA– A man was injured in a collision between two vehicles south of Warden in Adams County early Sunday morning, according to a report by the Washington State Patrol.
At around 12:55 a.m. August 23, authorities responded to reports of a collision on State Route 17.
Preliminary reports indicate that James A. Scaramozzino, 45, of Wenatchee, was driving a pickup truck on SR 17 when he drifted across the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming construction truck driven by Timothy W. Rodriguez, 46, of Pasco.
Scaramozzino was flown to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Rodriguez and a passenger in the pickup truck were not injured in the collision.
The WSP reported that impairment was not suspected in the incident. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
