Abel Corza Killed in Los Molinos Accident on Highway 99 and Palm Street

Los Molinos, CA – Abel Corza, 35, of Redding, has been identified as the man who was killed in a crash that took place in Los Molinos last week on Friday, according to the Butte County Coroner’s Office.

The wreck took place on Highway 99 and Palm Street on Friday, March 22.

The California Highway Patrol said Corza was driving a 2015 Nissan Sentra northbound on Highway 99 when he swerved across the double yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming 2019 Volkswagen Jetta.

Both drivers were trapped and had to be pulled out of their vehicles.

Corza was airlifted to Enloe Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The other driver was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital with major injuries.

The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
