Scottsdale, AZ. – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle collision with injuries near an intersection in Scottsdale Thursday morning.
According to a police report, the incident happened near Frank Lloyd Wright and Hayden Road.
Investigators said a total of five vehicles were involved. However, the events leading up to the wreck were not immediately established.
Nine people were injured in the collision. Two patients were taken to a local trauma center and one other was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The other six patients were treated at the scene.
The roadway was closed during the on-scene investigation but reopened at around noon.
An investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the mishap is underway.
