Brentwood, CA. – An 84-year-old woman was killed, and an 86-year-old man critically injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon in Brentwood, authorities said.

The crash was reported shortly after 2:00 p.m. in the 2523 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

First responders pronounced the 84-year-old woman dead at the scene and rushed the 86-year-old man to a local hospital in grave condition.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of her family.

The report did not specify the vehicles in which each victim was traveling.
