According to the Escondido Police, the crash happened at around 8:32 p.m. January 23 on San Pasqual Valley Road at Summit Drive
Escondido, CA – A 79-year-old male pedestrian from Escondido was identified by the coroner's office as a victim killed in a Sunday night crash on San Pasqual Valley Road in Escondido.
According to the Escondido Police, the crash happened at around 8:32 p.m. January 23 on San Pasqual Valley Road at Summit Drive.
Reports revealed a septic pumper truck traveling on Summit Drive entered the intersection at San Pasqual Valley Road and collided with the decedent's bicycle.
The male victim was transported to the Palomar Medical Center Emergency Department, where he later died.
The crash remains under investigation.
