San Bruno, CA — A 78-year-old woman died Wednesday morning after crashing her vehicle into a building along El Camino Real, according to the San Bruno Police Department.
Officers responded to the 100 block of El Camino Real around 10:40 a.m. and located the woman with serious injuries.
She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she later died.
Authorities did not say whether the building was occupied at the time of the collision.
No additional injuries were reported.
Investigators have not yet determined what caused the crash.
Police said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
The North County Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT), along with the San Bruno Police Traffic Division, are handling the investigation.
