Lacey, WA – A 67-year-old Springfield woman was killed Friday night in a car accident near Lacey, according to the WSP.
The deadly accident happened around 7:20 p.m. on October 24 on Interstate 5 near the Nisqually Bridge.
WSP said the woman was driving northbound on the freeway approaching the bridge when she drove off the roadway to the right and crashed into a barrier.
She then crossed all lanes and crashed into the left-side barrier.
The woman was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, where she later died.
No other details were provided.
The WSP is investigating the accident.
