Antioch, CA. — A 60-year-old Antioch woman was killed Thursday evening in a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Marie Avenue and East 18th Street, authorities said.
The crash occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m., according to the Antioch Police Department.
The driver involved left the scene after the accident.
Officers and paramedics arrived to find the victim down in the roadway.
The paramedics rendered medical aid to the victim, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Antioch Police Department’s traffic unit is investigating the collision.
