Los Angeles, California (October 4, 2023) – Six people, including two children, were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon in the Florence-Firestone neighborhood of South Los Angeles.

The accident was reported at around 1 p.m. in the 200 block of West 81st Street near the 110 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The officers who responded to the incident located four vehicles at the accident scene. The circumstances surrounding the pileup were not immediately established. One of the cars crashed into a power pole after the collision.

Two men, two women and two children were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

A seventh patient was treated at the scene and released.
