A Ripon Unified School District bus was stopped on eastbound West Ripon Road to pick up students when it was struck from the rear by a pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old girl

Manteca, CA.- Four minors were hurt in a collision between a vehicle and a school bus near Manteca on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place on West Ripon Road near Alice Road at about 7:17 a.m.
A Ripon Unified School District bus was stopped on eastbound West Ripon Road to pick up students when it was struck from the rear by a pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old girl.
34 students were on board the bus and three of them suffered minor injuries.
The teenage driver was hospitalized with major, non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the CHP.
