Livermore, CA. – Two drivers died when their vehicles collided Monday morning in Livermore, the Livermore Police Department reported.
The incident occurred around 5:55 a.m. on Isabel Avenue between Kalthoff Common and Vallecitos Road.
Livermore police officers and other emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a Ram pickup truck and a Honda involved in the accident.
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures on both drivers but were unsuccessful.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was identified as a 49-year-old man from Tracy, and the driver of the Honda was identified as a 23-year-old man from Manteca. Their names will be released by the Alameda County coroner when their next of kin is notified.
The collision is under active investigation.
